Dear Ed,
We hope that all is well with you, Maureen, and the family. We have
just completed our first week of school and have certainly returned to
the academic year routine. We're looking forward to our 4 day Labor Day
Weekend.
I finally have a few moments to share our comments with you from
our two weeks in August. Kelley and I would like to thank your whole
family for the warm informative welcome and continued personal
attention that we received during our stay with you. You were all very
accommodating and extremely helpful in answering our questions and
taking care of needs. You showed extreme sensitivity toward our family
in maintaining a family friendly environment. Your dining and activity
suggestions were excellent. It certainly made it easier to plan our time
for those two weeks.
The Sand Dollar was a lovely decorated and well appointed efficiency.
We couldn't help but notice how everything was thoughtfully placed and
wonderfully coordinated to create a warm and pleasant living space. It
was a very pleasant place to return to after a day at the beach or from
one of our daily travels. The bedroom was a warm and comfortable room
with plenty of dresser and storage space. We slept very well there.
We were easy walking distance to the beach as well as close to
restaurants, a convenience store, bike rental, and of course, the
boardwalk. Olivia and Elena appreciated these short distances as well
as Mom and Dad since we carried most of the beach gear. I personally
enjoyed not having to find a parking space every time I moved the
car. Kelley and I did enjoy sitting out front at night to catch the
breeze and to spend some time together. It was nice to have an open
space to sit in and not be right on top of people. The girls enjoyed
the use of the pool and played the board games from the closet. We
actually stayed in one night and played the game of Life. Overall, I
would say that it was one of our best family vacations since we are
still talking about it and still feel somewhat relaxed after two weeks
at home.
On behalf of my family, I would like to thank your family for assisting
us in having a very memorable and enjoyable two week family vacation.
We will keep your information handy for others and ourselves when making
future plans for our next visit to North Wildwood. We wish you all a
good year and if you're ever in Berks County, drop us a line.
Take care,
Mark Kenney on behalf of Kelley, Olivia, and Elena
